Principal Investigator for ACRI
Meet Dr. Caban
Dr. Francis Caban is the Principal Investigator for ACRI. Dr. Caban has participated in clinical trials since 2015. He leads our clinical research studies from phase II to Phase IV. Dr. Caban’s passion for medical dermatology inspires him to spend hundreds of hours per year learning about the latest research in skin health.
Before practicing dermatology and becoming the Principal Investigator for ACRI, he graduated from the university in Puerto Rico’s School of Medicine and then moved to Maryland where he completed his post-graduate residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital of Baltimore . He currently serves both Spanish and English-speaking patients all over Florida and is the Principal Investigator for ACRI. Dr. Caban is also a double Board-Certified Dermatologist.
Meet Dr. Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez obtained his medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico in 2013. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. He then completed his Neurology residency at UTMB in 2017 where he also served as Chief Resident. He then completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at UTMB in 2018.
Dr. Rodriguez is board certified in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Tampa Bay Latin American Medical Society. He has been conducting clinical trials in the neurology field since 2021 as Principal Investigator at his own practice. He partnered with ACRI to expand his research practice. He enjoys helping to advance treatments and also likes offering his patients the latest in medical treatments when and if possible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to partner with pharmaceutical companies who share our focus to deliver new treatments for dermatological and neurological conditions and in studying their efficacy. We hope to work with individuals who are interested in participating in our clinical trials and can drive dermatological and neurological research forward.
